"Let us imagine that G‑d were to give you the opportunity to save a Jewish community from extinction (G‑d forbid), you would certainly be willing to risk your life for this and you would thank and praise him for His great kindness in offering you an opportunity of such enormous merit. The same then holds true to an even greater degree wih regard to the campaign for taharat hamishpacha; it is an endeavour which literally saves lives."
(The Rebbe - Hayom yom 10 Nissan)
Communities over the world have recognized the need for a mikvah, a ritual bath, as an essential part of Jewish observance. As far off as Anchorage, Alaska; Bogota, Colombia; and Yerres, France, kosher and comfortable mikvahs help men and women in their quest to build solid Jewish homes. Quebec City will no longer be the sad exception to this. The plans for the mikvah have already been created, and we need your help to start digging!
